When Canvas Took Flight

In 2006 a major aeronautic supplier was on the hunt for a local sewing manufacturer who not only understood quality, but also precision and service.  All inquiries led to Artful Canvas Design, Inc., a leader in the marine canvas industry for over 25 years.  The talented team at Artful Canvas not only met the customers expectations, but exceeded them.  This was the start of a decade old alliance which has grown from providing 3 sewn assembly products to over 75.

Todd Freund, Owner and CEO of Artful Canvas Design, Inc. made the decision to separate the two industries by forming a sister company designed to accommodate the aeronautic industry.  As a licensed helicopter pilot, he understood the importance of aviation safety and FAA regulations.  As a successful business man he understood the impact of quality service and customer satisfaction.  This unique combination has been the success that has given rise to Artful Aeronautic Assemblies, LLC
